Directions to the Lord Milner Hotel in London

Arriving by Air

From Heathrow Airport

  • Chauffeur Driven Car
    • This is the most convenient and comfortable way of making the journey from Heathrow Airport to the Lord Milner Hotel. Our service will meet you at the Arrivals gate, take care of your luggage and bring you to the hotel. Please contact us for prices and reservations.
  • Taxi
    • This is a similar service to the Chauffer Driven Car and will give you a real taste of London if you get an interesting cabby. You pick up the cab at the airport but remember that traffic could be an issue and with the meter running things can get expensive.
  • Private Transfer
    • For a personal and hassle-free introduction to London, it often makes sense to use of one of the many private transfer providers servicing Heathrow Airport who transport you in a minibus and will drop you off right outside the hotel.
  • Train
    • The Heathrow Express Trains run every 15 minutes and the journey time is 15 minutes into London Paddington. A single costs £13.50.
  • Underground/Subway
    • The Piccadilly Line runs from Heathrow Airport to Victoria Station and we are about a 2 minute walk from the station. The fare is 3.60 (you must buy your ticket before you go on the train), but the journey is interminable, with many stops. Allow at least 45 minutes for your journey.
  • Coach
    • A coach would drop you literally around the corner from our Hotel at the Victoria Coach Station, but please be aware that traffic can often be problematic.

  • Taxi
    • As with Heathrow Airport, you pick up the cab at the airport but remember that traffic could be an issue and with the meter running things can get expensive. Gatwick is much further away so this can be an expensive option.
  • Train
    • The Gatwick Express is the quickest way into London with new, smart trains. Journey time to and from Victoria Station is 30 minutes and trains run every 15 minutes.
    • Alternately you can get any Southern Train Service into Victoria. These run frequently without too many stops and can therefore be a cost saving.
  • Coach
    • A coach would drop you literally around the corner from our Hotel at the Victoria Coach Station, but please be aware that traffic can often be problematic.

From Luton Airport

As Luton Airport is situated a long way north of central London, we suggest you opt for one of a host of private transfer options available, who will drop you off directly at the hotel. The other options into the city include the Express Train into St Pancras Station or the Coach, which will drop you off just around the corner from the Hotel at the Victoria Coach Station.

National Express Coaches run regular services to the Victoria Coach Station which are cheap and which drop you off approximately 400m from the Lord Milner Hotel.
